Visa requirements: Switzerland is an associated member of Schengen area and there are no Visa requirements and border checks for visitors from Schengen area countries. Furthermore, there are some countries with Visa waiver regime. According to the Federal Office for Migration, visitors from Australia, Brazil, Chile, Ireland, Japan, South-Korea, Singapore, UK and USA don't need a Visa. The different regulations governing entry into Switzerland can change. So please check it with your local Swiss Embassy and be aware that your passport validity remains at least 3 months after departure from Switzerland, even if no Visa is required.

Other foreign visitors are required to have a Visa (e.g. China, India, Russia, Southern Africa). The requirements and processing times depend on each country. Therefore, we ask the meeting participants to contact their local Swiss Embassy as soon as possible. Please contact us for the official Letter of invitation and any help you need for the Visa procedure.
